Frecce Tricolori 2022 in Desenzano

After 3 years the show of the Frecce Tricolori returns to Lake Garda : the National Aerobatic Team is ready to light up the sky of Desenzano on Saturday 10 September 2022 , with rehearsals scheduled for Friday 9 September 2022 . The first historic Air Show of the Frecce Tricolori in Desenzano had brought 100,000 people to the territory and now the famous planes aim to return as great protagonists over the heads of fans, tourists or simple spectators.

On the occasion of the Air Show 2022 , both days are full of exhibitions with the presence of numerous aircraft of the Italian Air Force that alternate before the arrival of the Frecce Tricolori . Both Friday 9 for rehearsals and Saturday 10 for the official exhibition, the time of the event is set from 10.30 to 12.30 approximately .

Specifically, the Air Show program foresees that, as in 2019, the Air Force HH 139 helicopter for a rescue demonstration will open the dance, followed by three amphibious aircraft that show their versatility both in the air and on the water. It is then the turn of a large formation of Tornado planes of the 6th Wing that fly over spectators and simulated attacks. After them there is the Legend formation of 7 aircraft, so called because it is made up of historic civilian aircraft and modern Air Force jets. Following an amphibious demonstrator aircraft and the breathtaking evolutions of Andrea Pesenato, Italian freestyle aerobatic champion , with the Cap 231 .

The culmination of the program is obviously the exciting performance of the National Aerobatic Team, the beloved Frecce Tricolori that color the sky of the lower lake with the colors of the Italian flag .
